“Await the relief and do not despair from the mercy of Allah, because indeed the most beloved of actions with Allah, the Noble and Grand, is awaiting the relief.”—Amirul Mu’minin Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (ع), Biharul Anwar, Volume 52 p. 123 (via ahlulbayt-saviour)
SubhanAllah, everything happens for a reason. Remembering some stories my dad was telling me about his life and how he ended up where he is today, it’s crazy, God has His plans for us all. Some blessings just appear in your life and you don’t know why they have been given to you, and same with the obstacles… but all you’ve got to do is take them as they come. The rest you’ll figure out along the way. The key is to stay humble when you receive the blessings and as for the obstacles, don’t let them bring you down- keep moving forward. The more hardships you encounter in your life, the more prepared you’ll be when you are presented with them later on. Hardships make you the person you are, because you are who you are from your experiences; for example from learning to get back up when you have been knocked down. And besides, no matter how much bad you have in your life, you will always have more good.
